Oakes Energy Services Limited was established in 2007 with the aim of offering customers an alternative, more sustainable approach to their energy needs. Founded by Jason Oakes and Derek Dowson, we are a family-based company that offers a personal touch in all aspects of our work. Jason Oakes
Jason is a former professional rugby player whose sporting career was curtailed by injury (a torn Achilles tendon ended the career of the Newcastle Falcons lock-forward), now bringing the same commitment and determination to your project that the Falcons enjoyed in every game.
Derek Dowson
Derek has many years’ experience in plumbing, heating and renewable technologies. Derek heads our team of on-site technicians, using his considerable knowledge of renewable, mechanical and electrical technologies to design and install systems to meet your needs.

Jason and Derek are fully qualified, highly experienced engineers, specialising in the renewable energy sector. Based in the North, no one offers better quality, value or personal service.
