Oakes Energy install two chillers for NHS

This weekend, the Oakes Energy team replaced two chillers at one of our southern NHS sites. These chillers are crucial to the operational department as they provide critical cooling to the operating theatres and burns unit.

Due to the weather, this was by no means an easy installation and the team had to adapt swiftly. After an aborted crane lift on the Saturday due to high winds, the team set to work on Sunday to ensure the coolers were installed before the end of the week.

The fantastic efforts from the team allowed us to have both existing units decommissioned and removed, two new chillers supplied by our partners Keyter positioned with structural steelwork, pipework, power, controls and one new unit operating within 7 hours. The second unit was replaced the following day.
