Phil is a qualified gas engineer who started his working life at British Gas. He joined the Group in 2010 to develop the Home Services division, and still enjoys day-to-day responsibility for all its operations, client management and business development.

Erik is an MBA graduate who has worked in the energy efficiency arena for more than 25 years. In his nine years at EAGA, he managed the operational delivery of the Government’s £1.8bn Warm Front scheme. Erik joined the group in 2017 and is responsible for the Energy Company Obligation and other central and local government energy efficiency schemes.

Jason is a former Newcastle Falcons player and is an industry leader in renewable energy systems. Jason is a qualified gas engineer with 13 years of renewable experience across the industry. Jason joined the group in 2018 as the founder of Oakes Energy in 2007, which became part of the group in 2018.

With over 25 years’ experience in electrical appliance and construction sectors at Northern Electric and EAGA before joining the group, Kevin ensures group compliance for GDPR and data protection, all accreditations, certifications and registrations for all our skillsets. As our Carbon Champion, he is focused on sustainability and impacts as part of our corporate social responsibility.

With over 30 years’ experience in the HVAC Industry and extensive experience in renewables having worked across various continents delivering major complex projects Nik joined the group in early 2023 and manages the Oakes business. Nik holds Chartered Engineering status by the UK Engineering Council as well as being a voting member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.

Michael joined the Oakes team early 2023 and manages the businesses day to day activities, as with a number of our senior management team Michael began his career with a traditional apprenticeship in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering having now worked in HVAC for over 35 years holding senior roles and delivering projects across the UK ranging from Schools, Care Homes, Hospitals, Public Buildings, Industrial, Commercial, MOD & Pharmaceutical.

James joined the Oakes team at the beginning of 2024 as National Business Development Manager. With over 10 years’ experience of working for Viessmann Group, work with climate solutions. He has a wealth of knowledge & experience the Renewables sector, helping deliver Decarbonisation Project across the UK & Europe.

Liam is a qualified accountant with over 14 years’ experience, with a large amount of this time being spent within senior and leadership roles. Having worked in a wide range of sectors he brings extensive experience on improving business reporting and financial control, as well as working with operational teams to improve financial performance. Liam joined the business early 2023 to lead and develop the finance function.
