Mine Water Extraction
As District Heating grows in popularity, so does the motivation to bring to light other undiscovered heat sources.
As District Heating grows in popularity, so does the motivation to bring to light other undiscovered heat sources.
Mine Water Extraction is a new and exciting territory that has the potential to provide a very sustainable heat source for commercial premises. Now-abandoned mines that were once used to provide fossil fuels are flooded with water that holds heat as high as 40 degrees Celsius.
Hot water sealed underground is extracted through boreholes to feed heat pumps that then redirect the heat into district heating networks for commercial premises.
Our expertise allows you to harness alternative methods of energy. From the design and installation to ongoing maintenance, we provide complete Mine Water Extraction systems for District Heating, alongside every type of renewable technology for commercial customers across the UK.
