Air Source Heat Pumps
Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) can produce up to four times more energy than they need to run and are ideal for commercial use.
Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) can produce up to four times more energy than they need to run and are ideal for commercial use.
Energy is generated by capturing heat from air outside a building and pressurising it to increase its temperature. This heat is then circulated around the building or used to heat water. Air Source Heat Pumps are capable of performing this operation even on cold days.
ASHP can be configured as a hybrid system to run alongside another heat source such as a gas boiler. Once installed, the system requires only occasional maintenance to continue to run for years.
By running constantly at a low, sustainable level, an Air Source Heat Pump system prevents pipes in your premises from freezing during winter.
