Phil is a qualified gas engineer who started his working life at British Gas. He joined the Group in 2010 to develop the Home Services division, and still enjoys day-to-day responsibility for all its operations, client management and business development.

With over 35 years’ experience in the HVAC Industry and extensive experience in renewables having worked across various continents delivering major complex projects Nik joined the group in early 2023 and manages the Oakes business, under Nik’s management the business was successful in achieving Regional Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the year in the 2024 Energy Efficiency Awards as well as being victorious at the Energy Awards 2024 in the Energy Project of the Year (Public) for the ASHP decarbonisation schemes in Lincoln and were finalists in both the 2024 HVR and H&V News Awards. Nik’s team have been shortlisted at this July’s National Energy Awards under the Energy Project of the year, Retail/Commercial/Industrial along with an individual achievement for Nik under ‘Energy Champion of The Year’

Jason is a former Newcastle Falcons player and is an industry leader in renewable energy systems. Jason is a qualified gas engineer with 13 years of renewable experience across the industry. Jason joined the group in 2018 as the founder of Oakes Energy in 2007, which became part of the group in 2018.

With over 25 years’ experience in electrical appliance and construction sectors at Northern Electric and EAGA before joining the group, Kevin ensures group compliance for GDPR and data protection, all accreditations, certifications and registrations for all our skillsets. As our Carbon Champion, he is focused on sustainability and impacts as part of our corporate social responsibility.

Erik is an MBA graduate who has worked in the energy efficiency arena for more than 25 years. In his nine years at EAGA, he managed the operational delivery of the Government’s £1.8bn Warm Front scheme. Erik joined the group in 2017 and is responsible for the Energy Company Obligation and other central and local government energy efficiency schemes.

Liam is a qualified accountant with over 14 years’ experience, with a large amount of this time being spent within senior and leadership roles. Having worked in a wide range of sectors he brings extensive experience on improving business reporting and financial control, as well as working with operational teams to improve financial performance. Liam joined the business early 2023 to lead and develop the finance function.
