Stead Lane Primary School

Oakes secured the boiler room upgrade at Stead Lane Primary School, Bedlington via a competitive tender and carried out the works on behalf of our valued client Northumberland County Council. The project consisted of the installation of a temporary heating plant to enable the school to continue operating without interruption as the new installation was carried out during the winter period. Existing plant was removed and new high efficiency Ideal Evomax 2 gas boilers complete with bespoke flues, high efficiency pumps, gas monitoring, BMS upgrade, mains power and lighting, builderswork, insulation and commissioning was completed on time, on budget and to our normal high standard.

There are multiple roofs planned to hold installations of PV on, building a large-scale clean energy production for the factory to generate both carbon saving energy and cost savings.
